New homes in Scunthorpe town centre complete

A total of 22 brand new, Ongo homes are now complete and ready for tenants to move into on West Street, Scunthorpe.

The seven three-bedroom and 15 two-bedroom homes are all for affordable rent and are finished to a high standard, with modern finishes and car charging points to a number of properties.

They are based right in the heart of Scunthorpe town centre so all local amenities, schools and shops are within walking distance, making them ideal for families.

Amy Schoenmaker, Development Project Manager at Ongo said: “These homes look fantastic inside and out, and they bring a new, fresh look to the area.

“They reinforce our promise to not only build new, much needed homes, but also to improve and reinvest in our communities.

“Their location means they’ve been in high demand and it has been great to see so many people interested throughout the build, and to see families now moved in.”

The homes have been funded by us and Homes England, and have been built by Termrim.
