LEP seeks board director from visitor economy sector

The Greater Lincolnshire LEP is looking for a business leader from the visitor economy sector to join its Board of Directors.

We are seeking to recruit a new private-sector board director to help lead Greater Lincolnshire into a brighter future focusing on economic recovery and growth.

The ideal candidate will be a business leader from the visitor economy sector who has a passion for the future of the region’s economy and wants to share their skills and experience to make a difference to Greater Lincolnshire’s prosperity.

This exciting opportunity to join the LEP is open to business leaders who can bring a depth of experience aligned to our strategic aims and who are able to make an active contribution to the work of the LEP, strengthening the organisation’s role as the main thought leader influencing economic development and place-making in Greater Lincolnshire and delivering the area’s Local Industrial Strategy and recovery plan.

You will also be involved in making decisions in driving investment into Greater Lincolnshire, and you will require a strong understanding of good governance.

The successful candidates will serve as a Director of the Greater Lincolnshire LEP for a three-year term, attending meetings (sometimes virtual) every month.

For more information about the Greater Lincolnshire LEP, please visit www.greaterlincolnshirelep.co.uk, where you will find a Board Directors’ Recruitment Pack, current members of the board, terms of reference, our Code of Conduct and our emerging Local Industrial Strategy.

For an informal discussion about the roles please contact Ruth Carver, Chief Executive, on 07795 676833.

To apply please submit a covering letter and a CV to sue.groves@lincolnshire.gov.uk.
