Self-Care & Compassion Workshop

This half-day Workshop will be presented by John Armitage, founder of Natural Health, based in The Terrace, Lincoln.

It’s all too easy to be down on yourself. Feeling below par, fed up and just not good enough.

It’s usually not so easy to get out of the rut. Compassion, as a central tenet of the practice of Mindfulness, has a lot to offer anyone seeking a way to boost their sense of self-worth and feel good about life and work.

Explore how we might foster a little more self-care, some of the science supporting the importance of ‘soft-skills’ in the workplace and introduce practical, mindfulness-based approaches to developing compassion for ourselves and others, using a blend of simple practice, questions, and a little positive psychology.

Questions and topics we’ll reflect on are:

  • What is our greatest resource?
  • How do we reduce the impact of our ‘inner critic’ and its tendency to catastrophise?
  • What are simple self-care strategies?
  • What is the value of compassion and how do we incorporate it into our lives?

A FREE Breakfast will be provided at the workshop.
