Environmental Consultants Announce New Appointment

Delta-Simons Midlands team are pleased to welcome Geo-environmental Principal Consultant, Hellen Maiden, to the company. Hellen brings over 20 years’ experience to the regional office, having originally started her career in marine geophysics, before moving on to work as a client representative for two large colliery schemes in South Yorkshire.

Hellen moved into engineering consulting as a junior engineer, working through the ranks to Associate Director responsible for marketing and business development, as well as providing multidisciplinary geotechnical and environmental support for two of the company’s regional offices.

Hellen completed her BSc in Geology, and Masters in Engineering Geology at University of Manchester.

Based in the Lincoln head office, Hellen will be assisting the Midlands team in the delivery of geotechnical projects for clients, as well as providing geotechnical support for the development and training of our consultants.

Paul Bennett, Unit Director for the Midlands team, says “Hellen brings valuable geotechnical knowledge and expertise to our regional team.  With her extensive experience in client support and projects, she will also play an important role in the geotechnical development of our consultants.  Welcome to the team, Hellen!”
